On Thanksgiving Day, I came to your hospital to ask a question. When I spoke with Brad, who was working in the emergency department, I was met with extremely rude and dismissive behavior. Even to the simple questions I asked, he responded in an aggressive, impatient, and disrespectful manner. It was clear that he was upset about something, but he was taking it out on the patients and visitors who were coming in. This behavior is completely unacceptable and does not align with hospital standards or basic professional conduct.
Very happy with my experience at this clinic. Dr. Blumberg is absolutely top drawer as a diagnostician who is empathetic and listens. His intake nurse is funny and listens well. Bloodwork was really easy and front office people validated my parking electronically! I have not had any issues with billing, but billing is an issue with all offices now - be angry at insurance companies for that... BEWARE! A NORMAL SPECIALIST OFFICE VISIT HAS A HIDDEN FEE OF $180 FOR AN OUT PATIENT HOSPITAL VISIT THAT YOUR INSURANCE MAY BILL YOU FOR EVEN THOUGH YOU DIDN’T USE HOSPITAL SERVICES! I expect better from UCI, employing such scammy tactics is low and they are unwilling to readjust the claim!
Love our primary care, but UCI as a network is really bad. They don’t coordinate anything and aren’t any help with providing insurance the right documentation to get things approved.
This is my only bad review. DO NOT COME HERE FOR BLOODWORK. These guys forgot my A1C panel and still charged me for it anyways. But that’s not all! They also billed my insurance incorrectly TWICE. What was supposed to be routine preventative tests ended up with an out of pocket 191$ bill for me somehow. I’ve been with the same insurance for 7 years and this has never happened to me.
