The doctors are fine. Their billing department is a total mess -- they over charge you and constantly demands you to pay more than what's allowed by the insurance.
I agree the communication at this location is lacking. It takes days or weeks to get a reply from Mychart - if anyone bothers to reply. I have had less than pleasant interactions with the RN (Rosalind) and generally it feels like a huge burden to Khambati's office when I need assistance. No patient should ever feel like this. Especially with so much competition (Northwestern Medicine has opened a brand new facility nearby that is getting rave reviews.) I was really looking forward to coming here as my new PCP location with Dr. Khambhati but I was very disappointed in the after-care experience. Communication from this office is terrible. For weeks after my appointment, most of the post-visit follow up questions I sent through my MyChart went unresponded to. I called multiple times to follow up and no one called me back even though several messages were taken by their answering service and “escalated”. “My experience with Dr. Du has been very disappointing. I felt that my medical information was not handled appropriately, and I was uncomfortable with the possibility that it may have been discussed with people not involved in my care. There were also inaccuracies in my MyChart records that did not seem supported, which made me lose confidence in the care I was receiving.
