i rly enjoyed my visit with my doctor today and bonus is Alfredo (I think that’s his name) took my blood today and it was the most painless and efficient experience ever. super compassionate individual and gave me water and helped me with my seat + stayed with me after blood draw because I have a history of fainting. As a client I feel respected and seen.
Kind, friendly, knowledgeable doctors and staff.
The doctors are fine. Their billing department is a total mess -- they over charge you and constantly demands you to pay more than what's allowed by the insurance.
I agree the communication at this location is lacking. It takes days or weeks to get a reply from Mychart - if anyone bothers to reply. I have had less than pleasant interactions with the RN (Rosalind) and generally it feels like a huge burden to Khambati's office when I need assistance. No patient should ever feel like this. Especially with so much competition (Northwestern Medicine has opened a brand new facility nearby that is getting rave reviews.) I was really looking forward to coming here as my new PCP location with Dr. Khambhati but I was very disappointed in the after-care experience. Communication from this office is terrible. For weeks after my appointment, most of the post-visit follow up questions I sent through my MyChart went unresponded to. I called multiple times to follow up and no one called me back even though several messages were taken by their answering service and “escalated”.
