The medical staff were great. There is no way to contact this office before or after you to find out what service they offer or when the results of the test came back different than I expected. They think there is a way to call them and leave a message but there isn’t. They aren’t contactable on Mychart. Now I have to go to the ER anyway because I can’t talk to a nurse to find out what to do next.
This place is an absolute rip-off, avoid if at all possible. I was billed over $1000 for a brief (~15 minutes for $233) urgent care appointment that included two routine tests (step @ $303 + upper respiratory specimen @ $530). Both came back negative btw so I guess I would have been way better off just waiting until I got home to seek help. Way to incentivize healthy behavior, UChicago Medicine! Avoid this place - Long wait time although with appointment. Also, the nurse asked me to drop my samples before 8pm. I went there at 7:25pm and they refused to take my samples because “they are close”. Such a waste of time. I won’t go back again.
I’ve been coming here for years and never had any issues with front desk, nurses, or doctors. Everyone has always been patient and kind with me.
