I have been a patient here since before COVID-19. This office has gone downhill so much compared to what it used to be. Don't come here, or to any Uchicagomedicine Advent Health office if you can help it. This office has ignored voicemails about medication refills I needed, told me to call them but not been there to answer these calls, and generally shows no sense of care or urgency regarding their patients. DO NOT GO HERE. Do not go here if you are deeply mentally unwell. They will KICK YOU OUT (discharge you) for the very thing you came in to get help with. In the *one week i spent there, 3/4 people i was in the group with i were discharged for personal reasons. While i will not disclose details of why we were discharged, I will say that we all faced a SEVERE lack of empathy and understanding from the staff at Options. Do not go here if you're queer. People here are not educated about it. Staff had made rude and shockingly un-scientific remarks about the trans person in our group, suggesting that they may have DID because they were trying out a new name. I had an ok time in group becuase I happened to get along with the people in our group really well, but the people who work here are not culturally competent and clearly only know how to serve patients within certain demographics.
