Get directionsI don’t usually leave reviews — but this one’s earned it. This was hands down the worst hospital experience I’ve ever had. I get that there are wait times and that I’m not the only person in the building. I didn’t come in expecting special treatment. But I’m a cancer survivor — someone who actually got treated at this hospital before — and the way things were handled this time felt careless and cold. The doctor didn’t ask me once how the pain was after giving me multiple medications. No check-in. No “did that help?” Not even... read more
Horrible waiting room staff and policies. Security was nice. My daughter has sickle cell and they made her wait 6 1/2 hours!!! In a full blown pain crisis
There needs to be a limit to how many people "coming in after you may be seen after you." 12 hours in an ER is a long time to wait with level 8/9 spinal pain and labs that show inflammation. I couldn't take it any more and figured it would be less painful to wait the last 5 hours at home for my doctor to get in so I could just call her for help. If everyone is deemed to have a more life threatening situation, or be 50 years older, than you - you will literally never be seen.
One of the most inhumane emergency rooms completely lacking empathy for patients' care and needs.
This was the worst emergency room experience. The staff were extremely rude and kept driving people away. I truly don’t understand why we are paying to support these people. I don’t see why companions are not allowed in the emergency room. People come to the ER because they are unwell and often in urgent situations. If no one is allowed to accompany them while they wait, then what is the point of coming to the emergency room at all?
