Horrible horrible wait time I’ve been here for 10 hours , got an xray done 7 hours ago and got results back and still haven’t seen a doctor…
UChicago Medicine has been my primary hospital since my diagnosis of kidney disease in 2016. I am surprised by the negative reviews and can only say, that if it hadn't been for the doctors and care team at UChicago, I probably wouldn't even be here. I am active and taking care of my own things, working on my art and design business, and going to business school in the fall. I have mixed feelings about this experience. Everyone was kind, but I did ultimately end up feeling violated. AdventHealth Bolingbrook transferred me here in the middle of the night this weekend so that I could get an immediate consult with plastics for a dog bite to the nose. On my way in there was a bloody body board propped next to the door. That doesn’t make you feel too great as a patient.
