If I could give zero stars I would. She told me my test results were a "false positive," claimed there was nothing she could do for me, and had her nurse tell me to go to an urgent care down the street, since I was obviously having a panic attack due to the information (or lack thereof) she gave me. I understand not being able to help someone but there’s no reason to be so rude and dismissive.
Seligman canceled my appointment the day before after waiting months to be seen saying they don't study my condition in rheumatology. Other specialists more compassionate than this medical discriminator indeed confirmed inflammatory disorders which are in fact acknowledged and studied in rheum. Her abandonment led to a delay in care and a worsening of my condition. Avoid this provider like your life depends on it.
Dr. Seligman was rude and not interested at all in listening to me. She told me my test results for RA were barely positive so she wasn't even considering an RA diagnosis. She sent me out the door with a prescription for pain meds. Because of this, I have been living with debilitating pain for a year thinking it's just osteoarthritis. I finally decided I had had enough and went to a new Rheumatologist and he told me I have classic RA. Dr Seligman took care of my health needs for years. She is responsible for my success at being able to live a active lifestyle today
My mother was scheduled here. Prior to her appointment, the office required her to get imaging and labs done. No problem. She got them done and a week before her appointment, they would not tell her which location her appointment would be at (again, this was already scheduled). On Friday, she was told by the office that she would know the location of her Wednesday appointment on Monday (two days before).
