Communication with scheduling and pre-procedure was hard but the nurses and doctor was excellent
Beware of third party billing due to outsourcing readings! I had an insurance authorized MRI done at this facility. The staff was great. Month later i received a bill from a third party i was not supposed to receive. Turns out, the reading of my MRI was outsourced to an office what was not in network of my insurance. I did not consult this office, was never informed of this, neither was this authorized by insurance or me. UC Health avoids any communication about this issue and refers me back to the third party. I had a referral from one of the doctors. I was told that I could do a walk in for the blood tests and that there was no need to schedule an appointment. I was also told that I could choose any of the UC HEALTH lab locations. I chose Grandview Hospital for its close proximity to my home. They were very quick to serve me. As soon as I checked in and sat down to wait, the technician came out and called me to the back
