I don’t usually post negative reviews, but I’ve had a very frustrating experience with Dr. Rao. I believe she is knowledgeable and her nurses are kind, but my visits have consistently left me feeling unheard and stressed. I became her patient after my previous primary care doctor left the clinic. During my first visit following a very sensitive situation, I felt more lectured than supported. Doesn't listen, has her own agenda. Rushed and impatient. Started out ok, went downhill after awhile. Disappointing that she felt she needed to grossly exagerate my response to her at our last appointment. I understand that Dr's have bad days too, but this was an ongoing struggle because of her very impatient nature. I felt unheard, misunderstood and exceedingly frustrated.

Went in for very obvious kidney stones and left with a gastroenterologist referral. She spent the entire time scolding me for not going to the ER immediately when I was in pain. Extremely out of touch response, considering the ER typically wants you to see your primary and costs an arm and a leg. She wasn’t rude or anything, but a huge waste of time and money.

I’m sure the Doctor is great. Staff super rude tried to ask for an appt for this week and she laughed on the phone. How unprofessional, first impression of the office already bad. Going to schedule elsewhere.
