I saw Dr. Brown for some cortisone shots for my SI joints. He recommended that I receive a SI joint fusion. I went to his office around November of '23 and met with his nurse to discuss the surgery. The nurse informed me that the surgery was not authorized by the Veterans Affairs (VA). She also told me I could not use my secondary insurance (Medicare) because it would be considered insurance fraud (she got this information from another person in the office). called several times put on hold for extended period of times. they said someone would call me back to schedule. never happened. going to get a referral from my pcp for someone else. not looking for pain meds just want shot in my hip
We spent all this money on a MRI and I can’t get anyone to return my call to schedule my husband.. it’s been 5 weeks now we have to go somewhere else
Dr. Brown saved my life. With a neurostimulator implanted in my back 7 years ago, I was able to stand up again, walk a long distance, work and most of all stop taking pain medication. Dr. Brown is an excellent doctor in pain management, he is compassionate and has an outstanding sense of humor.
Excellent personnel. Friendly, efficient, and caring. Dr. Brown is outstanding!
