One of the most important characteristics in a general surgeon is the clinical expertise and prior experience to know when a surgical procedure is NOT necessary. Such is the case with Dr. Hornbarger. His analysis of my situation and explanation of the "why" behind his analysis was excellent. As a result, he saved me from a surgical procedure and the resulting recovery time. As we discussed, working with a good physical therapist on my issue is the best path forward. I highly recommend Dr. Hornbarger.
