I am writing a review based on my recent hospital stay. First of all, I was talked to very disrespectfully and harshly, and with a lot of fear in their wording they from two of the doctors that were treating me. Fired my doctor today due to a horrible staff and terrible patient care. Sent him a message saying I was switching doctors and where to fax my files to. About three hours later, received a letter saying THEY were dismissing me as a patient for a no show. LIE! So not only is care here become terrible, they lie through their teeth to blame the patient.

I visited Nicholas Maurio, NP at the UCHealth Scarborough location, for an annual exam two years in a row. The first year, I was charged for labs that my insurance didn’t cover. The next year, I declined the labs because I had to pay for them out of pocket the year prior. Nicholas said he would cancel some and just do the essential labs that would be included with the annual exam and not coded as extra to my insurance. Wiared 24 hours in hospital room to even see a doctor. Nursing staff hit or miss. Cannot seem to share records or information. Terribly inefficient. Go to Denver for your healthcare.
