I was seen by Dr Kirkpatrick and have nothing but Kudos for himself and the entire ER staff. Their professionalism and courteous service deserves mentioning. Although my medical diagnosis wasn’t what I wanted to hear (fractured scapula) everyone was wonderful in guiding me thru from my initial check in to my final exit with follow up care arranged.
I am a first time mother and called in looking for the urgent care. We are patients at the Carbon Valley office, but never used the urgent care before. I didn't realize I had called the wrong number. The woman who answered the phone told me they were only and ER, which is true but instead of directing me to call the urgent care (right next door!) she suggested I go to Indian Peaks (centura) Urgent Care over in Dacono. I went to UC Health and was greeted walking in the door by a Hello what are you here for from across the lobby. I work in the dental field and we have a policy to talk privately with patients and not let the lobby know what they are seeing us about. The doctors and nurses we very professional but the front office staff was lacking professional training as they were busy playing with there phones. UCHealth Emergency Room in Broomfield, CO was wonderful! They were quick in seeing my son for stitches, facility was very clean and Carmen and Dr. Allison were very friendly and helpful. Thanks for everything! I will recommend UCHealth to my friends.
My husband went to the Commerce City UCHealth with chest pains. They immediately took him in for tests, x-rays, blood work and a cat scan. Thankfully, they diagnosed him with pneumonia and pleurisy. The doctor and staff were extremely caring and they took the time to explain the diagnosis and treatment. It was a great experience under such a stressful situation. Our thanks to the staff at this facility! I'd highly recommend them.
I was greeted in a friendly manner and was treated well by all the staff. A few even went above and beyond in the friendly department. I was given plenty of time to explain my symptoms and ask questions of the doctor. The tests were run and my diagnosis explained in a short amount of time, although I felt like I could have asked questions and had them gladly answered. The whole process took less than and hour. In and out with quality service and care. You can't beat that.
Even though my husband was there for an emergency, we had an otherwise very pleasant experience. He actually drove all the way from south Denver to this emergency room because he knew there would be little waiting and he was right. We were the only ones there. Got in immediately and the RN and Doctor got him set up with pain management within minutes. All in all we were there about 2 hours. This is the best intake and care experience of any I've had in over 50 years of dealing with personal, family, and employee health issues. This caring and compassionate team of professionals is a credit to their profession. I would not hesitate to recommend them to all who need emergency treatment and care.
I arrived in Colorado to visit our daughter and her family and my eyes had been itchy and swelling for a day or so. I wanted to take care of the issue and remembered seeing this facility from a previous visit. I suspected I would have to wait for hours to be seen, as it wasn't exactly an emergency. What a welcome surprise to be seen immediately before I could even get the paperwork completed.
