The doctor we saw for my child’s ER visit did the absolute bare minimum. He couldn’t breathe and had a cough that literally sounded like he was barking. She listened to his lungs and she looked in the back of his throat. There were no medications sent home, no definitive diagnosis, and she was more concerned about getting us out of the door for her shift change than she was for the care of my child.
