I was blessed to be in Dr Chris Mitchell's care during a bowel obstruction emergency. His gentle caring demeanor put me at ease during a very scary situation. Afterward I came back to him for a hernia recheck. My hernia was hard to feel on exam due to scar tissue from a previous surgery. He was willing to get me an ultrasound to be sure and it caught it. Doctor Christopher Mitchell was one of those exemplary human beings that you meet along the way in life. I had a lot of questions and he never lost patience. He informs you of what you need, but even though he will allow you to make your own choices, gently nudges you to make an informed one.
