Dr Hedges is everything you want in an OBGYN and more! My first appointment with her she sat and listened intently to what I was experiencing. She never once has dismissed my symptoms and has done everything she can to make me feel better. She has gone out of her way to find answers for me and makes sure I’m comfortable with every step! Booking out months in advance for new patients but that schedule isn’t even open so new patients can’t even book? Also took forever to talk to someone.
Turned away and told to call Peak Vista when the receptionist Anna, asked what insurance I have. I told her Medicaid. So I asked to speak to a supervisor to find out why the receptionist is discriminating against me as they take Medicaid, new patients snd I have a referral. She hung up on me refusing to allow me to speak to a supervisor.
I transferred to Memorial Central after a long labor at home and was assigned to Dr. Hedges. It was a less than ideal situation and I was nervous about the reception I would receive at the hospital. But as soon as Dr. Hedges walked in the room, all my worries went away. She sat down next to my husband and I and just had a conversation with us, listening intently to all we had to say. Dr.Hedges is everything you could want in a doctor. I transferred to her when my Dr informed me she was moving out of town. Dr. Hedges is the nicest doctor I have ever met, she listen to every concern and is very thoughtful. I do not feel rushed when I see her and that makes me look forward to my appointments with her. I would recommend Hedges to absolutely anyone looking for an exceptional OBGYN.
