I went to PVH when my water broke preterm at 34 weeks. I was obviously stressed and worried, however the entire staff made me feel so much more comfortable and secure!! I had to be induced and they made sure I was kept in the light about everything going on the entire time. It took a while as my body just didn’t want to officially start active labor even though my water had broken. Because of this I ended up having a c section done. I am one of the many mommas that had a wonderful first birth experience here at PVH. The nursing staff and the doctors were attentive, informative, and entirely respectful of my requests for my baby’s care and my care during and after labor. Two weeks postpartum, I found myself in the emergency room for hemorrhaging. They had a provider come over on after hours from the hospital and she told me that she wasn’t leaving with emergency and got me transferred to the postpartum ward. Highly recommend the birth center. Everyone involved in the birth and care of my baby girl was AMAZING. Every single person I met was caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. My boyfriend and I felt encouraged, supported, cared for and, most importantly, safe the entire time. Thank you everyone for such an amazing experience.
