I called her practice to try and get in as a new patient , talking about my history of loss and sensitivity and the receptionist Gloria has me in tears right now over how callous she was on the phone. Why do supposedly great OBs pick the very worst people to schedule their appointments? I’m genuinely so disheartened and upset.
Since I was seen at this location and my doctor left I have been reassigned to a doctor I do not wish to see. The web page says she is accepting new patience, but she can not see me because I am assigned to a doctor I have never seen and do not want to see! This location has continue to force this doctor on me. Also has informed me that my past medical records are not important to my health or being seen.! Dr. Stowe-Quain delivered my first baby in 2023. She had been my OBGYN for a couple of years prior. At the time, I was very happy with the care. She spent loads of time with my husband and me to talk about all of our concerns, and the nurse practitioners at UCHealth were also awesome. It was an incredible experience having a child without using an epidural or pitocin and Dr. Stowe-Quain was patient with us when we were overdue and wanting to keep it as natural as possible. The receptionist at this practice, Gloria, needs some customer service skills. I was excited to book due to the reviews but I am not longer interested. My primary care retired, I have not gotten another. I haven’t really had a reason to but recently found out I was pregnant. I called UCHealth and spoke to a nurse who gave me recommendations to a few primary’s. They were all booked out months so getting a pregnancy test from them wouldn’t help me.
