I specifically saw Dr David Raymer in Heart & Vascular and he and his team were absolutely fantastic. I've been seen by 3+ heart doctors now and he made my heart diagnosis digestible, less confusing and gave me hope with solid next steps forward, I felt cared about and heard.. finally! I will say, parking and walking in if you do not know where you are going can be confusing and overwhelming (its a HUGE hospital), BUT, the appointment schedulers let you know exactly where to park, and walk and they offer complimentary valet.
I've been treated here for about 3 years. I see Neurology and Neurosurgery. I've always had a great experience here. The doctors and staff have all been great. However yesterday I was there. I use a walker and was in a lot of pain. Their valet service is horrible to say the least!! We waited 20 minutes for our car!! I stood right next to the woman in charge. Everyone and I mean everyone one was so kind to me. Special acknowledgment to my nurse, Claire Wolf,(coolest last name) she was so helpful caring, and attentive. Also the two ladies from the forensic team they made me feel heard and special. Also, the psychiatrist I don’t really rember his name fully, but he said people call him bear because of his name. He was very kind this morning. Never received treatment here, this special kind, and meaningful. Thanks I needed these people the most on my team this time..💐
This place is completely, outrageously unprofessional! The nurses the doctors have no bedside manner whatsoever they all were very disrespectful to my husband and I. Discrimination played a huge part in this very long, horrible stay we, mostly him, are still enduring.
