I’m always pretty disappointed when the vegetarian option is a pretty plain salad, when the meat options are more special. I didn’t love the Tempura Endive but that’s opinion-based. The flatbread and desserts were great. Weird to have no live music on a Friday evening. Generally, we spent $200 on two people, and I would only get the flatbread again.

The restaurant has a limited menu that offers only three selections per category of appetizer, main course, and dessert. We each started with a beet salad that also included portions of grapefruit and was actually quite good. For the main course we chose the swordfish (which was excellent) and a tempura of bok choi (that was tasty but somewhat underwhelming). The desserts (gelato and walnut cake) were excellent. We enjoyed our meal, but the price was a bit steep for what we were served.

We had a mixed experience at this restaurant that I think is worth sharing honestly. From the moment we walked in, the service felt a bit unstructured. There wasn’t a host or greeter at the entrance, or someone from the staff walking to us and guiding us in. instead we were waved over to the bar without much guidance — all of it felt inattentive. Came for a wedding and they very kindly accommodated us with vegan meals. It was a lovely setting, the food delicious and the staff was very kind! Highly recommend the Shirley Temple with the house-made grenadine! Delicious!
