The people that answer the phone & answer questions are wonderful. I can't say the same for the company. Each year, 3 now, we are supposed to get a card with $ to use for certain things. We wait for it to come, it doesn't, so we have to call end of January to see where it is. Told they will send another one. Funny we get everything else from them??? Very incompetent company! They have not gotten one thing right from paying premium to getting a card. I hate to see what will happen when a claim is filed. Their answer is always wait 10 days but you wait the 10 days and still nothing is fixed. Save yourself the heartache and go with a different insurance company.

Terrible. Lies about out of network options. If you travel in the winter outside of MN, which you SHOULD, they will NOT cover providers OUT OF NETWORK This company ONLY cares about taking your money.

I just found out (NOT from Ucare) that my chiropractor of 15 years would no longer be covered under Ucare. I called Customer Service. I spoke to a woman that told me she could not tell me why he was being removed. I then said this would mean I might have to get a different health insurance. She said "I can unenroll you right now " very rudely. It was extremely upsetting. Now I have to look for new insurance.

At my annual physical had blood work done now find out ucare doesn't pay for your annual check up blood work never had a insurance co not cover that how sad that at this time in the middle of a pandemic they would cover a once a year check up but all it comes down to is the dollar is the bottom line I guess next year it will be back to medica my pay more monthly but never had to pay anything at a check up so sad

Terrible , and we've been on it 4 days. Can't understand their website and half the people I've talked to don't have any idea what the others are doing. Wish I had never heard of them, it'll be a long year, rating should be minus

I chose the wrong provider! Apparently they are completely incompetent. My insurance information didn't arrive until well into the year, causing issues with providers and prescriptions despite them saying we could just provide our information. Billing is messed-up as well. After getting through all of this, I finally got my procedure set-up and the providers all gave me cost information which I was to provide to Ucare to determine my cost. I have used UCare as my Medicare supplement for almost four years and am very pleased with their plans. I don’t have to worry about processing claims, most doctors are participating providers, the company is non-profit., and their customer service has been very helpful with questions that I have had. I must admit, I am very surprised at some of the poor reviews that I have seen. Not a true picture of my experiences with the company!

I called twice today to get answers and help for prescription coverage. I'm new to UCare and didn't understand. Neither person was so well informed and the second person at around 12:20 pm today gave a huge sigh of impatient when I tried to ask a question. The first person: I was very explicit with, "I just finished an appointment for a UTI. I want to know why prescription is so high." She asked, "Were you seen in the last few days?"
