Dr. Udowenko did not follow proper procedure for me. She referred me out to another UCSD Dr who was shocked that Dr. Udowenko didn’t address my health situation when I saw her. The second doctor said that Dr. Udowenko didn’t follow proper protocol at all and should’ve addressed my situation when I was at Encinitas express care.
DO NOT GO HERE. Its highway robbery. I saw a nurse for 15 minutes for a cold (not one test or xray). She looked at my eyes, ears, nose and throat. I got a $280 bill. They billed my insurance $430. I had the same experience with my UCSD dermatologist - 15 minute appointment and I was charged $380. The bill to insurance was $480. I tried to speak the office manager with this derm to address the bill and she never called me back. I will be sharing reviews on all online portals and reporting them to the better business bureau. Easy, timely, efficient, and compassionate. This is the third time I visited this facility. It is unlike any other healthcare experience I've had. Very little waiting and knowedgeable personnel. They called me 5 minutes before my appointment time, and I did not need to wait more than 10 minutes for the NP to see me, nor for the X-ray to be taken. Stellar service!
Visited this satellite office twice this week. All staff and personnel where polite, professional and caring. I would like to single out Elizabeth McQuinn who was my attending physician both visits. Extremely engaging, thorough and informative. Five star effort all around.
