I came in on day 4 of a horrible cough, fatigue and body aches. The NP listened to my lungs and said they sounded ok but if I got worse to get a chest X-ray. They left the room to run a COVID test and 20 minutes later I had to go find someone to get the result, which was "inconclusive." Wrote a script for cough meds even though I said I already had them at home. Three days later I was in the ER with pneumonia. (And I was negative for COVID.) Not impressed with the care.
Clean facility with great care! They have X-ray machines, even on holiday weekends!
My wife twisted her knee badly. Thought something was torn. Took her UC San Diego Health Express in Encinitas. She was taken in within 15 minutes to be examined. She was examined and they took an x-ray. Within 10 minutes the x-ray had been reviewed by a Radiologist at UCSD, and the results were presented to my wife. Fortunately, it was nothing serious, and she was provided a knee Velcro device to stabilize the knee. Without a doubt, the best medical service we have ever had. We were blown away!
