The doctor and the ICU nurses were fantastic. After my father got better he was moved to the 9th floor for recovery and that’s when we realized everything was neglected. For 3 days we told the nurses and the staff members about multiple trash cans that were overflowing and no paper towels, Also there were plumbing problems but they kept avoiding us and running away.
UC has changed my life and saved it more than once. I've never had a hospital that went so far out of their way to give me the care that I need and spare me from surgeries and keep me comfortable in an ER which is not an easy thing to do. I was a little disappointed to see the low ratings and remembering that people mostly use reviews to talk down about an establishment so I wanted to give my take. My niece had surgery with Dr. Greg Wilson .( a wonderful surgeon) It was a very complex procedure and everyone that we have dealt with has been so helpful and polite. From the parking garage attendant, security people, the information desk, the cafeteria workers and the housekeeping staff. They are all wonderfully. I had a wonderful time here. I was taken to this hospital with a masive heart attack 3 days ago. The was very friendly and professional. They told me I needed life saving surgery right away. I survivedand the food is awesome. The roons are clean and tidy. If you want a hospital that will guce you their undivided attention and save your life than come to UC. I came from Kentucky , so I could be treated at this hospital. Here is a pic of room.
