Don't even bother to call if you're trying to check up on a relative. No one in this hospital is qualified to do their job in the slightest. Typical California system.
What an amazing facility. I took my wife to UCI for an outpatient procedure and what a class act. From check-in to check-out the staff were amazingly kind, compassionate and efficient. The parking is a bit crazy but the Facilities are clean and well maintained. My wife was well cared for and the nursing team were phenomenal as was her physician. I also checked out the cafeteria and had a breakfast sandwich and coffee while I waited for my wife to return to the recovery room. A nice experience and my wife is doing well. Highl... read more
Love the doctors and nurses. I was treated really fast , I had a hanging like tumor, bleeding too much. Other hospitals couldn't take care of me UCI did. And I am from Barstow, California. I really love this hospital including all the doctors and nurses. They have my love and respect. I recommend totally. 👌 😇❤️🙏
I honestly don’t know how anyone actually gets healthcare from here. The endless: call this number, call that number, call the first number again, leave a voicemail, leave a voicemail, leave a voicemail, call the main number and have them send an urgent internal message for a call back in 24 hours, the 24 hours passes, call again leave a voicemail, send another message… hear crickets. There shouldn’t be even 1 star, there should be none. In 2020 my family member underwent a procedure at UCI that was presented to our family as urgent and necessary. It was neither. He went from being able to drink water and speak on the way there, to losing those abilities after the procedure. It made him significantly worse. When it came time for rehabilitation, UCI told us he didn’t qualify for acute therapy. We took him to Hoag Hospital instead, and they gave him a chance.
