Hadan MRI appointment scheduled for 1 pm today and was told to arrive at 12:30. The appointment was confirmed by phone a couple days prior as well as the very morning of the scheduled appointment. My husband and I took time off for the appointment yet arrived to find a locked facility. We waited half an hour and then left. Called one of the various phone numbers listed for radiology and they confirmed I was scheduled for today at that location and could offer no explanation why the facility was closed. I specifically asked how much a diagnositc mammogram would cost prior to the appointment because of my high deductible insurance. I was told the cash price would be around $840. I receieved a bill for a diagnostic mammogram for $2670!! Since they will not negotiate the price, I cancelled my future appointments with this center and will reschedule with Memorial or Hoag who charges only 30% of Pacific Breast Center prices.

This facility is excellent and I have been going here for additional breast screening for over 18 years. The facility is clean comfortable and the staff is caring and nice. I have been going here since the practice was started by Dr. Alice Police before it was sold to UCI medical Center. Dr. Police stayed on and I continue to get my care here. I had a positive finding five years ago and Dr. Police (amazing) treated me, and the radiologist Dr. Freddie Combs is amazing as well. They have everything you need all in one facility... read more
