Lovely experience at this facility, I recently had my second mammogram here along with an ultrasound. Bree (hope I got the spelling correct) has been my technician each time and she is amazing! Professional and kind, she makes you feel very comfortable. I can say the same for the ultrasound technician, Lauren (again, hope the spelling is correct:). Hadan MRI appointment scheduled for 1 pm today and was told to arrive at 12:30. The appointment was confirmed by phone a couple days prior as well as the very morning of the scheduled appointment. My husband and I took time off for the appointment yet arrived to find a locked facility. We waited half an hour and then left. Called one of the various phone numbers listed for radiology and they confirmed I was scheduled for today at that location and could offer no explanation why the facility was closed. I specifically asked how much a diagnositc mammogram would cost prior to the appointment because of my high deductible insurance. I was told the cash price would be around $840. I receieved a bill for a diagnostic mammogram for $2670!! Since they will not negotiate the price, I cancelled my future appointments with this center and will reschedule with Memorial or Hoag who charges only 30% of Pacific Breast Center prices.
Caring staff. Easy parking. Clean facilities. Highly recommended!
