I was very anxious going into my GI procedure with Dr. Karnes but once I met his staff, nurses and residents and Dr. Karnes I knew I was in good hands. Everyone was very professional, competent and I was put at ease instantly. Afterwards, no sore throat or any discomfort. (I’ve had a sore throat from another facility after an endoscopy.) I haven’t been billed yet so I can’t comment on that yet.
Great doctors. They are literally saving my life from cancer.
i absolutely do not recommend this place. i waited over an hour to see the doctor. was dismissed on my symptoms then said to follow up in 6 months when nothing had been solved. they took over 2 weeks to prescribe antibiotics after i was already diagnosed with SIBO. horrible treatment
Hepatology knows how to disrespect *your* time. I waited an hour after my appointment time but never saw the doctor. The billing office feels that being seen for 5 mins by an intern constitutes "being seen" which justifies the doctor's and facility fees. What they do in Hepatology is make a bunch of appointments for say, 1PM, but serve first-come first-serve in reality.
