Another failure in OC this city need attention
The nurses and staff are kind, professional and caring. I’ve always had good donation experience here. The best part is you are helping save lives at this location and by donating direct patients get blood, plasma, platelets right away instead of waiting for hospital to PURCHASE from Red Cross then waiting for Red Cross to deliver to the hospital. Donate direct it helps everyone it’s a simple and easy way to give something that sick people are in desperate need of..you really do save life’s by donating.
Convenient location, easy parking in the left structure off Dawn St, great nurses who are very accommodating and friendly
Great facilty and staff. I like that they take walk ins.
What a joke this operation is run, no wonder they need more donors? The directions they email for where to park and where the facility are are so vague (there are TWO parking lots on Dawn Way), I ended up walking around in a circles trying to find it and asking several people. Once there, I did all the paperwork, questions, blood testing, etc. only to be told literally at the last moment (I was already on the bed) I didn't meet their requirements (which made no sense and never were an issue at other UC blood centers as I've ... read more
