Fast and efficient
I was a Gastro patient at the Clifton Office. I relocated to another state and was referred to a Gastroenterologist here in the state I’m currently living. The Dr.’s office where I am needs a referral. I have be reaching out since July trying to get a referral sent. I just called again this morning. I don’t know what the procedure is for getting a referral faxed?! I always spoke highly about UC hospital and their staff, but at this point, I just don’t know. UC, being what is sometimes referred to as a County Hospital or a General Hospital, can get negative feedback. And that's not totally unfair. After all it's the only local hospital with metal detectors and city police on campus. Having admitted the bad upfront, I have to say, with total seriousness and no exaggeration that they have and are currently saving my life. The only reason I give a four-star review is because of the rude security guard (lady) working at the door in the ER at night. She is the only person I’ve run into who has zero people skills. She ruins what is already a bad time in people’s lives. I wish they’d find her something else to do, preferably in a room by herself.
