Got my first brazilian wax here! It wasn't too expensive because i got a coupon here for 50% off. It was quick and almost painless. And since its so close to campus I definitely recommend UC Hair Salon!

Shadia gives great women's haircuts for really cheap prices. I wouldn't recommend the other stylists - I've tried them when Shadia isn't around (which is pretty often - she's usually just around later in the day), and they were just mediocre. But Shadia definitely has talent. I used to get my hair cut at fancy salons ($60 or more for a haircut), but the grad student budget got tight and I decided to try the cheaper end of the hair salon spectrum. I genuinely recommend this place if you want a good first wax. I'm definitely coming back here again! SOOO worth the pain and 40$ plus tip.

This was my third time getting my haircut here and my first time getting a back wax here. I had also brought my friend who was in need of a fade, here for the first time. The service was great everyone was extremely nice. The haircuts were both great and perfect, not a hair out of place. The wax was great, the lady is extremely nice and makes you feel very comfortable. The wax took no more than 10 minutes and all of the hair was gone (just as I wanted). Best place in Berkeley, definitely going back

It was my first time at this salon last week. I came in for a hair cut. I went from long hair, to shoulder length. They did a wonderful job, and did exactly what I wanted. I couldn't be happier. I feel and look great! Thanks.

First off, the salon is very chic and it just makes me feel better when I am getting professional services done to have the place I'm going to, be up to date with trends and look more on the modern side. The music is MY kind of music and it makes the experience that much greater! I feel like I'm listening to my iPod favorites playlist! Now for the service... fantastic! Really appreciate the perm last weekend I was in dire need of one. Your staff was extremely friendly and very pleasant to deal with. I left a large tip with the stylist because she did such a fantastic job. I can't wait to get my hair done here again.
