UBuildIt and/or URemodelIt employs or employed a crooked homebuilder named Kent Carter. Carter built homes under the name KC Homes. We hired Carter to build what we thought would be our “dream home”. Instead, he turned it into a nightmare. Kent Carter lied to us, repeatedly, about the price of materials going up. Ultimately, he admitted to embezzling at least $150,000 of our construction funds. Run away fast. Real fast. Multiple locations have been closed due to lawsuits. More scheduled to close as customers sue them all. Horrible business with nothing positive except that they are being shutdown.
