We really liked Dr. Espino with pediatric endocrinology. I was not thrilled it took the Dr two years to meet my daughter after being a patient for 2 years. (Never stepped foot in the office). This office does not answer the phone or return your calls. EVER! I continually asked about the patient portal and no one would get back to me or get me set up. We had a great experience with the asthma team. All the staff were very knowledgeable and professional and helped us adjust our treatment.

I stood there awkwardly as it was my first time at this location the two older check in receptionists were too busy talking to notice me. But the check out receptionist who was also a student was so kind, noticed me looking lost, and checked me in. The two older women started rudely complaining about how I was late not knowing I was standing right there already being checked in by the student because they didn’t even notice me. I am extremely disappointed with the level of professionalism from the check out clerk/receptionist. After what was otherwise a positive experience with the medical staff, I was met with rudeness and attitude from the check out clerk. She was short, dismissive, and acted as if any question or clarification was a burden. Her tone was unprofessional and completely out of step with the kind of care and compassion one would expect in a pediatric setting.
