I got a piece of chicken strip hung in my esophagus I tried to drink but could not. The DR used a scope to push the meat down into my stomach. When he was doing this procedure he thought my esophagus was torn or perforated so he decided to do a thoratomy on me. When he cut me open he realized there was no tear so he installed a feeding tube in my belly which was another large incision. I never used the feeding tube. This was a major surgery I was in the hospital for 10 days they sent me home with the feeding tube in my belly... read more

Love all those who help with my monthly infusions, helping me have a better quality of life. To name a few but certainly not all. Melissa, Cheryl, Patty, Wanda, David...all of you and all on the 4th floor infusion clinc. You all are true professionals with the biggest hearts. Thank you for working so hard!
