Caring staff and excellent doctors and nurses.
Besides an enormous wait time which is beyond unreasonable, this hospital has horrible organization. The doctors are on par with a court appointed attorney. The nursing staff aren't much better. If you are able to go anywhere else you should do just that. This is the K Mart of medical facilities.
Wish I could give zero stars. I had to wait 2 months to get an appt. when I finally got there Dr Smith asked why I was changing from my previous pain clinic. I told him the other clinic doesn’t listen to me, keeps pushing me to get shots that don’t help and I get charged huge money for, and I don’t want to take pills. I had not even got the words out of my mouth before he said “ok let try a shot”. I asked if he just heard me say the other dr didn’t listen to me and kept pushing shots. Dr. Lauren Byers has worked miracles with me getting my pain under control. Since I've been going to UAMS Pain Management Clinic I can enjoy life better & with so much more enjoyment.
I have had a wonderful experience at the UAMS Pain Clinic. Can’t say enough good things about Dr. Goree and his staff.
