Was my pediatric orthopedic dr. and surgeon from age 2-19. Abysmal bedside manner. Never treated me as a person and was consistently dehumanizing. Pushed surgical options whenever possible resulting in my spine being almost completely fused. This has limited my mobility and range of motion for the rest of my life. Great doctor who really cares for his patients.
Dr McCarthy saved my life when I was six years old. He made a small child who could barely stand up because I was so bunched over feel like a brand new person. When he did my surgery the surgery was so new the discovery channel show called extreme surgies . I would recommend Dr McCarthy over and over again .He has seen me since I was 6 years old and now I'm 23 and forever thankful he was my surgeon.
Dr. McCarthy did Schurermanns Disease back surgery on my very young 11 year old daughter. She was very unhappy about herself and her self esteem was awful, and the pain she dealt with was over looked by regular PCPs for over a year. He is an excellent doctor, excellent surgeon, has zero god complex syndrome, and has the best bedside manner. He will speak to you using terms you can understand and will answer patiently with any questions you have. W love you doc and would reccomend you to anyone
