I had surgery here today. This place is the best ortho hospital! The check in desk had the sweetest people. The second floor check in had the nicest lady. The pre-op staff was absolutely wonderful. The anesthesia staff, OR staff, and post operative staff was amazing!! Dr. Pierce is a great surgeon and person. This hospital was super clean and comfortable. July 2024, I had left full hip replacement by Dr. Stronach. The VA outsourced me, and I have no complaints at all. Everyone was very nice and helpful.
If i could this place would get 0 stars UAMS orthopedic and spine hospital sucks. I have VERY tight legs where I cant bend them all the way and ive asked for tenden release surgery to help my legs to loosin up BUT NO. but a surgeon or doctor whatever he is there can ask if I want my legs amputated ABSOLUTELY NOT. They either do what the patient ask and needs or yall are gonna end up losin people. This is Ridiculous. Dr. Robert Garrison II completed my surgery. Just to keep this simple, if I did not have the insurance I have, I would NOT have been seen by a surgeon working in this clinic. The staff that gets you registered are welcoming, friendly and wonderful, every appointment, they are very consistent. It's the "nurses" in the back (Kaylee & Kim, very rude & unprofessional) that you never ever see but they return calls & know absolutely nothing about you. Dr feger was awesome did my surgery on friday came out and talked to my mom about what happened and asked her if she had any questions. He also made it a point to visit me twice in my room to make sure I knew and understood what he had to do. After 4 back surgeries I honestly wasnt sure if I would ever find a dr that actually cared.
