I have called trying to reach the Endocrine Clinic several times. I was always sent to the renal clinic like it's the only option. When I called the UAMS number, the receptionist sent me BACK to the same recorded message for the endocrine clinic that only takes renal clinic messages. Then when I DID access the voicemail for the endocrine clinic it asked for a mailbox # I didn't know, said the voice mailbox was full, then HUNG UP ON ME! I was recently seen by Dr. Arwa Albashairah for a second opinion regarding my thyroid. I have been ill since September and have seen quite a few providers. After having been seen by Dr. Albashairah I left not having more questions than answers. She was very kind and made me feel comfortable. She took the time to listen and to go over lab reports that I had brought with me. She explained the thyroid and discussed the issues I have having in great detail.
