Do not let first impressions fool you. This doctor place is a joke and should be closed down. The lobby is too small for G.I patients to feel safe and it is even more difficult to reach them over the phone and they make appointments without discussing it with the patient first.
I was a little worried about my visit after reading the reviews BUT…my experience today at the clinic was completely opposite. I could not have asked for better care. The lady at the check in was lovely and so kind. The nurse who took me to the exam room and performed a procedure on me could not have been more friendly helpful or professional. Then when I saw the PA she was professional, knowledgeable and very in tune to my needs. I am very happy with the care I received. Thank you
Receptionist very friendly and quick. Waited maybe 15 minutes to go back. The nurse that brought me back was super friendly (Mei). Kept thanking me for choosing this clinic and wishing me well. Doctor very thorough, knowledgeable and friendly (Dr. Ali). Set me up with meds and standard testing. Apptment was at 8. Back by 8:15. Doctor in by 8:25 and out of clinic by 8:45. Win-Win. My mother in law was seen today in the GI clinic in the outpatient. She waited for this appointment for 5 months. We drove two hours to this appointment all to be incredibly disrespected and dismissed. The APRN Carmen Paniagua had the worst bedside manner and didn’t do anything to help my mother in law. She had the audacity to open the door and leave it open while talking and commented it was due to her not being able to tolerate the smell of cigarettes and would need to air the room out when she leaves. It was okay a small lobby. Not very crowded today. Doctor was very understanding and asked the questions that needed to be asked. Hopefully the next appointment will go as good.
