doctors at UAMS saved my life after a horrible accident in 2022. i have also had a TKR with Dr Stronach since then and have nothing to say but good things. The billing department is easy to work with and very communicative. No complaints there.
They suck
Received a bill for the FIRST time, 1 year and 2 months after my procedure. This lack of timely billing doesn't allow me to use my pre-tax flex dollars to pay for this bill. UAMS was happy to take the insurance payment the month after the procedure, but couldn't get it together to send me a bill for my portion until over a year later. Absolutely RIDICULOUS!
It took my work a very long time to get my twin babies on my insurance. They have been incredibly patient and supportive throughout the process. Thanks for all your hard work!
I was wondering what the 1.8 rating was about. Then I actually had to deal with them. Kind of important not to keep people on hold for hours when they desperately need paperwork that mychart won't let you send to yourself.
