UAB Primary Care is incompetent and has no business integrity. when trying to come onto the new patients list, I was scheduled about 6 months out. That appointment was canceled, I was notified via email/text and had to call to reschedule. Then I'm scheduled for another 3 months out, so in total now 9 months from initial appointment confirmation. I call back and now that appointment was also canceled.. No email, no text, no call. Thank you Hoover Clinic! i was very anxious about my appointment and being heard and respected, and without a doubt i was blown away with the kindness and respect given to me. Every staff member treated me excellently and my appointment moved me to tears as i fully expected to told to be told to keep my input to myself. I started scheduling appointments 9 months ago as a new patient. Latest appointment was scheduled for March 17, 2026. On January 15, 2026 I received a cancellation notice for the appointment. This is the fourth cancellation notice I’ve received over a period of nine months. Within a nine month period, the doctor’s schedule is not available to accommodate a new patient. I was treated in a very professional manner and my doctor and the lab techs and electrocardiogram tech nician had a high level of knowledge The service was timely. I had no waiting
November 2025 Mass confusion at this place from several employees! Dirty restrooms 🚻 and NO SOAP in the 2 restrooms I visted today!! The young girl who took my blood pressure was so nervous and told us she "can't pronounce my medication names" so she's "just gonna skip that part" WHAT?!? Is this UAB? Have they lowered their standards? She didn't even wash or sanitize her hands before touching me! This place has really gone downhill 😕 I highly do NOT recommend.
