My experience with university housing reflected repeated issues with communication, professionalism, and appropriate use of authority. On two occasions, RAs knocked loudly on my door between approximately 2:00–3:00am for matters that were not emergencies. During the first visit (around 2:00am), I was questioned about allegedly having a cat due to a urine odor in the hallway. I did not have a cat. if you are thinking of attending uaa and staying in the dorms, dont let these reviews scare you away! the dorms here are pretty affordable and in great condition from what ive seen. the rooms are cozy and the windows are huge and really great shower pressure! maintenance is very attentive, every time there has been a problem in our dorm they have showed up the day i called. the staff is very nice and accommodating and helped carry up all my belongings on move in day. My only problem has been the room not being very clean whe... read more
The temple wood housing complex is like living in a poverty stricken third world country. I have lived out of my car in the past and have had 10 times better living conditions than temple-wood. it sickens me to my core, truly a foul and grotesque place. I wouldn't recommended it to my worst enemy. 0 STARS!!!
