My mother had a storage here. She died on the 6th of the month a day after rents are considered late. Not only would they not take off the lockout fee they wouldn’t waive the late fee, even though a dead person can’t pay storage rent and her family didn’t know until three weeks later. Thanks u-store for caring more about “policy” than being a compassionate human being who see that a concession or exception should be made. You lost over $100 a month in rents cause you wouldn’t take off $21.50. Good job.

The staff is friendly, the location is convenient, and I’ve always felt that my belongings are safe here. I was happy enough with the service that I referred a few people — something I rarely do, since it takes a lot for me to go out of my way like that. However, when my referrals actually signed up, I was disappointed to find that the $25 referral credit for tenants comes with overly specific rules that make it nearly impossible to qualify for the benefit. Unfriendly staff, limited hours & terrible customer service. Referral credit is impossible to utilize -so I wouldn’t recommend renting or referring anyone to rent from this storage facility with the abundant amount of competition out there - I would recommend that you start somewhere ELSE!
