I came in to get checked for Strep throat. While giving the back story of why I thought I had Strep, I explained that my 4-year old wasn’t taking his amoxicillin to heal him from Strep. The Physician who treated was so kind and thoughtful, asked me if I was willing to let my kid be seen again and if he had Strep, then she was going to give him a one-shot inoculation. Very helpful medical team from receptionist to nurses and technicians. I had labs and received a CT scan with IV contrast. All staff were very helpful friendly and caring! Really excellent folks across the board!
I have unfortunately been to many Urgent Cares and Emergency Rooms, and can confidently say that I felt taken care of with Dr Carter Mitchell and his RN Annalisa today, and that their team provided a far better experience than I ever have anywhere else. You can tell they really care about their patients, and that feels like a rarity these days.
I'm leaving this review mainly because the overall reviews are so poor for this place. Honestly, this was my best experience at an Urgent Care! I went yesterday (12/13) morning. The front staff were super friendly, going around every few minutes checking if anyone needed anything, and even had some snacks and water bottles people could take. DO NOT RECOMMEND! They are awful lmao. Front desk ladies are very weird. The Lady that checked me in was so weird. But whoever i spoke with on the phone was extremely disrespectful and rude. I needed my antibiotic’s to be sent to the pharmacy open and they said they did and wouldn’t do it. I then already gave up and went to the store because i was in so much pain.
