We had an absolutely terrible experience with U-Haul. I reserved a truck 1.5 weeks ahead of the day we needed it. I reserved it over the phone. They mentioned we would get a call 2 days before to confirm. We never received a call, but we did receive a text confirming our rental 1 day before. Ordered an auto transporter one month in advance of my move. Was called today to tell me one will not be available at my local U Haul place, but I could drive to Syracuse to go get it. I specifically ordered it locally because time was of the essence for this move. Asked if auto transport could be brought to my local U haul in the next two days and was told "we don't have enough people"
When you call during business hours no one answers. The 24/7 pick up claim is false and DOES NOT WORK
