We went to U-Haul today to get a trailer ball and attachment. We needed it 16" off the ground. The manager said he was too busy to get a measuring tape. They were not busy. No other customers. Another employee said he'd get one. Then they sold me a hitch and ball, but they couldn't get it to fit my car. After trying 20 minutes, it was not going to work. I said that's fine, I'll return it. Leaving a review regarding the U-haul at *** **********in St. Paul, MN. I'm leaving a review here because after reaching out to the GM via email, I did not receive a response. I also left a brief review on their website. Rented a pickup truck and motorcycle trailer as I bought a bike from a guy in Lino Lakes and I do not have a license yet, so I needed to transport the bike down to Eagan. An absolutely horrible company - beware and do not use for truck rental. I placed two rentals over a week and a half in advance initially with customer service; upon review online they completely butchered it. I cancelled and rescheduled myself still a week and a half in advance. They changed my pickup locations for both trucks on two separate days. Terrible trucks and trailers no maintenance to very Little turn on trucks and customer service is no good either because they don't call you back I submitted a complaint never heard anything

U-haul is a very deceptive and very unethical , we moved from Duluth mn. To Palm Springs California and used a u-haul pod . When we bought a home in California , we called for our pod and it was still in duluth , why didn’t they send it ? When they finally sent it about three weeks later I spent a good three days and countless hours on the phone being put on hold for tens of minutes at a time and many times after waiting on hold and being transfered the call would be dropped and I would have to start over .when they finally ... read more

One of the worst companies I have ever worked for. They know locations are scamming customers and do nothing about it but tell the customer srv agents to handle it. We are the punching bags for Uhaul

We rented a 26' truck on the June 12th. They were super busy and never once told us to inspect the truck before we left. We got to the house and there was a oil stain inside the truck and the truck was only filled at a half a tank. When were headed to our destination and I want they had wrong we get a text to do a walk around. So we call uhual to leave our complaint. In the past I have always used U-haul for my moving needs. This time I am making a move across country so in attempt to make my move simpler I decided to utilize U-Haul Boxes. Ideally, U-Haul boxes are supposed to be leveraged like Pods, where U-Haul drops them off at your location, they pick them up and then ship them to your designated destination.
