The Uhaul workers at North Florida Avenue are simply incredible. They went above and beyond to help me, and honestly were life savers. There was a scheduling mishap with my appt, and they still got my hitch installed so I was able to leave on time for trip. Truly good human beings.
I have not gotten the installation done because twice on the same day was sent back home after getting to this location, which is 35mins from home. The first time, I supposedly got a text or voice-mail from the installer to reschedule the appointment for a later time in the day, but I never got neither in my phone after checking through. Then, I went back on the same day at the rescheduled time, to be told that the installer had called out and was not going to be available that day. Worst experience ever with uhaul. Several things went wrong due to the staff at this location.
Had a very questionable experience with another U Haul location in St. Pete and eventually made my way to this location on very short notice. Having driven through a typical late afternoon Florida monsoon of a storm for almost an hour and a half I was somewhat hesitant about going in. End of the month and the place was packed with customers who were probably at the end of their own wits yet it felt so much different than any previous visit to U Haul ( especially the St. Pete location that I just visited).
