I’ve been a long‑time U‑Haul customer, but my recent experience with their storage facility was deeply disappointing. My storage unit remained unsecured for over a month, even though U‑Haul’s own internal monitoring system showed that the door was open the entire time. I had properly exited and locked up, but no one from U‑Haul contacted me or investigated the alert. As a result, my belongings were stolen. Good experience. Friendly clerk. They need a sign for the lock boxes saying not to pull on the lock while pulling down on the lock lever, though, but they had a number to call if you were having problems and someone answered promptly and knew the answer to the lock problem.
