I recently had a unit flood during a severe rain storm. Roof leaked, ground sits too low in left hand corner units. Ruined an $8000 kitchen i was getting ready to install in my home. Uhaul refused to take any responsibility and denied insurance claim. They were 100% responsible. So im out a full kitchen. They also stated i should have insured the unit but was never offered that option and never thought for a minute i would be put in a unit that leaked and floods! Never use this company for anything, especially not for U-Boxes. The nightmare we have been through trying to first get boxes to our house, then to get the boxes loaded, then the mystery of where 5 of our 7 boxes were and when they'd all end up shipped to our new home state. All starting with a no show for the appointment to drop off 5 boxes for our move, only to find out their singular truck had a broken wheel and they offered no solution other than "maybe we will get there in 2 weeks" when we were closing on our house 2 da... read more
