Last week I rented a truck from this U-Haul location (Skyland Blvd in Tuscaloosa) and received excellent service. The staff was efficient, professional, and friendly. Whenever needed, I will look forward to renting from them again.
We were scheduled to pick up a truck from this location to conduct a cross state line move with movers lined up and a tight timeline. Upon arrival after confirmation of the truck being available, we were greeted with no truck and being told by a worker that we could drive over an hour away to pick it up (from an alleged company that has not returned trucks back in a timely fashion in the past). I would highly advise to rent from Penske or avoid this location altogether.
Not very happy with this location. I have received at least four notices from them regarding a past due balance I had for $41.00 because it was required for them to put a lock on my storage. When I got the storage, the store was just about closed, so naturally, I forgot. When you rent a truck or a storage from them, they ask for an additional contact: their name, number and address.
