The manager at this location is a nightmare to deal with.
The first part of this review is about the location in San Rafael, California which should be avoided for sure if you have an option, but really my issue overall is with the U-Haul itself and not being able to count on a vehicle being available after you’ve made and PAID for a reservation. U-Haul is one of the biggest values out there. You get a great reliable truck where and when you want it at a great price. And they even let you extend at no extra charge if you’re running late. Can’t beat it.
After renting from the central valley, I unloaded in Sonoma County. For a very good discount I delivered the truck to San Rafael. The drop-off was very easy and quick. The staff was very professional and helpful. Thank you!!
