DO NOT LIVE HERE! This place has some of the worst management I have ever experienced. The houses are OLD and poorly maintained. I have had an ant infestation in both my bedroom and bathroom for over two weeks, put in several maintenance requests, and they have done absolutely nothing about it. There are holes and cracks everywhere in the walls. The wifi is awful. They haven't given any of the new residents parking passes to open the gates, so they just leave one open. So much for "safety". Signing a lease at U Club Marion Pugh has been the single worst housing decision we have made. The management and maintenance standards here are completely unacceptable. The primary source of our ongoing nightmare has been the property manager, Danai Smikle. She is consistently confrontational, rude, and completely unwilling to do her job or assist residents. My stepson and I toured here a couple of weeks back and the girl we toured with, Ellie, was so helpful. He’s our youngest, but the first in our family to attend A&M. She gave us so many tips on how to survive College Station living and answered even our silliest questions. The townhomes are a little small for the price, but I was told if you sign/renew in November/December, then it would be around ~$750, which is a great price for what you’re getting. I’ve been living here for a few years. There’s one maintenance guy who should be fired but they don’t do anything about it. He came to fix something in my bathroom and left pee marks around my toilet/the toilet seat up and I am a female. He also does a terrible job at fixing everything, and is just lazy. On top of that, the appliances and rest of the apartments are pretty run down compared to the tour one. There were holes/scratches left in the walls from previous tenants. My daughter stayed here for a year and in terms of amenities and overall quality it was good. However, one word of caution and advice is don’t room with someone who has a pet unless you 100% know that pet is going to be quiet and a good animal for your townhome. Once you sign and agree to there being a pet in the townhome the pet owner will have more power than your student in terms of disputes arising.
