I’ve been going to Dr. Tzou on and off for 6 years as my back issues warrant. He’s always taken great care of me, and his treatments always help. I saw him a couple of days ago unable to stand. After receiving an epidural, I’m now able to stand up and am on the road to recovery. I appreciate the fact that he doesn’t push pills on me, and when I need pain relief, he prescribes them in moderation (which is probably the real reason behind some of the one star reviews people have posted).
I was recommended by a friend to get a stimulator for my back. I sent my records to him as was requested of me to do. After doing all that, he would not take me on as a patient. NO REASON GIVEN. He should have on his website that he's not taking new patients if that's the case. No where is that found. Or is it because I have worker's compensation, which I was told he did take as insurance.
I’ve been under Dr. Tzou’s care for less than two years. In that time we’ve worked together to find a solution to my chronic pain. His office is well run by a friendly staff and of course it is spotless. This goes for the Huntington and Levittown locations as I’ve been to both. Getting an appointment is easy. I just call and within a day or so, I’m in. He is a good man in the right profession because his ‘bedside’ manner is wonderfully caring.
Sucks! Would not recommend.
I have been treating with Dr Tzou for over 10 years and I must say he is Excellent doctor in every aspect. He has helped me greatly with my pain. All the bad reviews are not called for. There is more to being excepted as a patient then they think. I would highly recommend Dr Tzou.
I am shocked at the review stars for Dr Tzou. My husband and I had a very positive experience in both of his locations: Huntington and Levittown. His staff is pleasant - each of them at both offices. I would surely recommend him .
After having me fax my medical notes stated he would take me as a patient, when I got there he berated me ( I’m 64) and told me to go on suboxone which by the way has not been F.D.A. approved for dealing with pain! Avoid! Picks and chooses who he will give pain meds too!
I had a spinal cord stimulator implanted in me by Dr. Tzou. I had 3 incisions, and 2 of the 3 were infected from the day I left the hospital. Dr. Tzou should have taken the device out as soon as he knew about the infection, but he didn't. 30 days later I was told by another doctor to go to the ER and have it taken out . Dr. Zingale probably saved my life. Dr. Tzou was more concerned with success rate with patients than actually treating them with compassion.
